Greg Smith : President + Owner
Greg has been recognized as one of the best recruiters in the industry while at GRN over the last 8 years who specializes in helping the small and mid-sized companies become the $1billion+ companies by transforming their organizations through talent. Greg executes on the premise of elevating the standard for recruiting services to that of a strategic business partner with his clients.
With a degree in General Management from Michigan State University and a strong background in Sales, Greg understands the importance of the talent needs within each functional group (Operations, Sales, Program Management, Engineering, etc.) of an organization.
This helps him collaborate with clients in the Automotive, Industrial, and emerging markets to add value at a remarkable rate by locating, approaching, and helping them secure the passive candidate they can’t find on their own. Recognized by our clients’ Executive Leadership as a solution provider who has increased the quality of hires, while reducing hiring cycle times and ongoing recruiting costs.
Greg believes in the establishment of life-long relationships with his candidates through consulting with them to implement strategies that set them apart from the field, and thus, allowing them to realize their career goals and aspirations while maintaining honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
Greg and his wife Seema were both born and raised in Michigan, and reside in Royal Oak, MI. They attended MSU and are avid Sports’ fans. In his free time, Greg enjoys playing golf and traveling the World in search of the next adventure with Seema and their families.
Seema Desai Smith : Founder + Owner
Seema is best known for her jack of all trades skill set. Through her project management skills and high EQ abilities, she has been able to help organizations manage and put in place policies to help them scale while also being the go to person for a variety of requests like creating a full circle quote process or managing a $500k HQ renovation. Past Vice Presidents have called her their “COO” and “an extension of themselves” for which they have heavily relied on her even after moving on from the position or company. She has an uncanny knack for research and problem solving.
With a degree in Exercise Science, she set her sights on the PT world, specifically diving into sports medicine, but ended up falling in love with the corporate world and being, as she calls, “the force behind the force”.
Her accomplishments have led to a job at the startup StockX, an e-commerce marketplace with a multi-billion dollar evaluation, as a Special Projects Manager for the Tech Department. Her day job remains supporting the Engineering teams, attracting top talent and helping the company scale.
Seema’s years of problem solving makes her the best fit to start and run this business from behind the scenes. She is passionate about helping others by watching them set and achieve their goals. She is excited to start this business and be an advocate for both candidates and employers alike.
In her spare time, when she isn’t learning new tech lingo or how to run a business, she enjoys spending time traveling with her husband Greg and their families. She is an avid MSU Spartan Super Fan and you can catch her Sunday mornings rooting on her beloved Red Devils in soccer.
